Steps

In a small bowl, warm the milk to about 35°C and stir in the instant yeast. Let sit for a few minutes until slightly foamy. |

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt. Add the egg and the yeast mixture, stirring until a smooth batter forms. Let the batter rest for 30-40 minutes or until doubled in size. |
