Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
6 eggs
500ml water for steaming
Marinade:
240ml soy sauce
30ml honey
15ml sesame oil
3 garlic cloves minced
1 red chili finely sliced
1 green chili finely sliced
1 stalk green onion finely chopped
1 tsp sesame seeds

Steps

1

Place the deep pot on the Panasonic Multi-Cooker, add 400ml water and add the steaming plate into the deep pot. Adjust the dial so that the steam icon flashes. Press the time button, then turn the dial to 8 minutes (00:08). Press Start and wait for the steam accessory to preheat.

2

Carefully place the eggs in the steam basket and cook for 8 minutes.

3

Once cooked, transfer the eggs to an ice bath and let them cool for 5 minutes. Peel the eggs.

4

In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, chilies, green onion, and sesame seeds to make the marinade.

5

Submerge the peeled eggs in the marinade, ensuring they are fully covered.

6

Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, preferably overnight, for best flavour.

7

Serve the eggs halved or whole with rice, noodles, or as a snack.

Enjoy
