Fluffy on the inside with crisp skins, these jacket potatoes are cooked using the Panasonic Air Fry Combination Microwave Oven for even heat and perfect texture. Finished simply with butter and classic toppings, they’re comfort food done properly.

4 large baking potatoes scrubbed and dried
40g butter
olive oil as needed
salt, pepper and your favourite toppings to serve

Steps

Pierce each potato a few times with a fork, then rub lightly with olive oil and season with salt.

Place the potatoes directly onto the enamel tray.

Place the enamel tray on the glass turntable in the Air Fry Combination Microwave Oven. Select Combination 3 and cook at 200°C + MW 300 W for 35–45 minutes until the skins are crisp and the centres are completely soft when pierced with a knife.

Remove the potatoes from the Air Fry Combination Microwave Oven and cut each one open lengthways.

Fluff the interior gently with a fork, then dot generously with butter and season with salt and pepper

Finish with your favourite toppings, then serve hot.
