Easy, everyday breadmaker recipe for a dark sourdough bread with rye and wheat.

Ingredients

280g very hard / brown wheat flour
120g rye flour
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
20g butter
40g sourdough starter liquid
240ml water
1 tsp dry yeast

Note: The ingredient quantities are not compatible with Mini Breadmaker SD-PN100 - find suitable recipes for PN100 (Smaller bread size) here

Steps

Take the bread pan with the kneading blade out of the breadmaker and add in all the ingredients. (top-to-bottom order)

Place the bread pan back into the breadmaker, close the lid, select programme Whole Wheat and preferred bread size and press start.

When your bread is done, take it out and let it cool down.
