The all-time classic white bread recipe for your Panasonic breadmaker!
Tip for beginners: Perfect bread recipe to start with when you are using your breadmaker for the first time.

If you want to experiment and add some special ingredients you like, you can try to use this recipe as your basic recipe and add e.g. some seeds, nuts or raisins. For your Mini Breadmaker SD-PN100, this would be max 50g of additional ingredients (Loaf size S).
Use then Menu 3 (Basic Raisin) instead and add the extra ingredients later on, once you hear a beep sound. It takes approx. 37min – 1h 2min until the beep sounds after the start of the programme.

Ingredients

1 tsp dry yeast
250g strong white bread flour
15g butter
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
170ml water

Steps

Take the bread pan with the kneading blade out of the beadmaker. Add the yeast into your bread pan first. Then add all remaining ingredients (top-to-bottom order) into your bread pan.

Place the bread pan back into your Panasonic breadmaker SD-PN100, close the lid, select menu 1, press start.
(Optional: If you want your bread to be ready later or even the next day, set up the timer (up to 13h)).

When your bread is done, take it out and let it cool down.
